Tragically, it has now been years since Canada promised to help those Afghans (and their families) who helped Canada during our presence there. In light of new conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, have we forgotten our commitment? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is impossible to explain the delays, red tape and simple incompetence that continue to leave many of our Afghan friends and allies in danger. There may, in fact, be favouritism at play, or perhaps “back doors” in the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Citizenship and Immigration Committee on November 2, I pressed the committee to make it a priority to find answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
