Where Is the $64 Million? Canadians Deserve Accountability

This week in the House of Commons, I stood up to demand answers on behalf of Canadians.

The Auditor General has confirmed that GC Strategies Inc. received $64 million in government contracts—and in many cases, there is no proof that any work was ever completed. This is not just a clerical error. This is a failure of oversight, transparency, and responsible government.

Watch my full intervention in Parliament here:

What’s at Stake?

This isn’t just about one company or one contract. It’s about how your tax dollars are being spent. Canadians work hard and expect their government to act with integrity. Instead, we’re seeing a pattern of mismanagement and cover-ups.

The motion debated in Parliament this week was clear:

That, given that the Auditor General found that ArriveCAN contractor, GC Strategies Inc., was paid $64 million from the Liberal government, and in many cases, there was no proof that any work was completed, the House call on the government to:
(a) get taxpayers their money back, within 100 days of the adoption of this motion; and
(b) impose a lifetime contracting ban on GC Strategies Inc., its subsidiaries, its founders, and any affiliated entities.

No More Excuses

The Liberal government has tried to downplay this scandal. But Canadians deserve better. We need to send a clear message: there must be consequences for wasting public money.

I will continue to fight for:

  • 💰 Full recovery of the $64 million
  • 🚫 A permanent ban on GC Strategies and its affiliates
  • 🧾 Stronger oversight of government procurement

Canadians are tired of excuses. They want accountability. If you agree, share this video, talk to your neighbours, and let your voice be heard.
