My position on Alberta remaining in Canada: Read my statements here
My colleagues and I recently spent some time with Calgary unions and heard about cost of living challenges, and received some great insight on how the government can support these careers. Trades are an engine of Canada’s economy, and are rewarding jobs for Canadians. These are the people that get things done. We are committed to doing whatever we can to ensure that these careers remain attractive long-term.
