Earlier this summer, I co-signed a letter along with 49 other federal parliamentarians in advance of the Montreal AIDS conference. We encouraged Canada to continue its support for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria. Unfortunately, the government chose not to do that. We are now asking the government to consider making a contribution in conjunction with the Global Fund’s upcoming conference in New York in September.
