Elizabeth May on Resource Industry “Flow Through funds”

Ms. May wants to talk about exploration and development funds for the resource industry, but how much does she really know?

Congratulations to MP Elizabeth May for again being chosen the Leader of her Green Party.

In her speech on the Fall Economic Statement on November 18, she spent time talking about the reversal of “flow-through funds”, otherwise known as development and exploration incentives for the resources industry.

I pointed out to her that flow through shares were actually reversed by this government some years ago, and every industry has already baked that into their budget planning.

The fact is, Ms. May is just focused on demonizing the oil and gas industry, facts notwithstanding.

Watch for her dismissive response.
