Parliamentary Visits
If you are planning a visit to Ottawa and would like to attend Question Period, Greg’s office may be able to assist Calgary Centre residents with obtaining visitor gallery tickets for Question Period, subject to availability.
Question Period is typically held at 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 11:00 AM on Fridays when the House of Commons is sitting.
Before submitting a request, we encourage visitors to review the House of Commons Sitting Calendar to confirm that Parliament will be sitting during their visit.

Guided Tours
The Library of Parliament offers guided tours of West Block, East Block, and the Senate of Canada Building.
Library guides provide an overview of the role and functions of Parliament while highlighting the history, art, and architecture of these iconic buildings. Tours typically last between 30 and 40 minutes.
Tour reservations are managed directly by the Library of Parliament and should be booked through the official reservation portal.
Registration Process for Public Visitors to the Parliamentary Precinct
All visitors 16 years of age and over are required to present a valid piece of ID for registration upon their arrival at the Visitor Welcome Centre. The valid ID must be issued by a federal, provincial, territorial or state government authority.
Valid ID (not expired) must include the following information:
- name
- date of birth
- photo
- signature
This process will apply to every public visitor attending Question Period or debates from the public galleries or wanting to go on a Library of Parliament guided tour, to the Room of Remembrance or to the Parliamentary Boutique.
Public visitors wishing to access the Visitor Welcome Centre will go through the verification desk, followed by security screening with the Parliamentary Protective Service (PPS).

Parliament: The Immersive Experience
Produced by the Library of Parliament, this 45-minute multimedia attraction takes visitors on a 360° journey through Centre Block, where the history, art and architecture of this iconic building come to life in vivid sensory detail. Located at 211 Sparks Street, the attraction includes an exhibit and an immersive show that features large-scale projections of key spaces in Centre Block, such as the Senate, the House of Commons, the Library, the Peace Tower and Memorial Chamber.
