A Promise to Our Veterans: Restoring Legion No. 1

Today, I rose in the House of Commons to speak about Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 1 in Calgary—a place that means a great deal to many in our community. For over a century, it has been a gathering place for veterans and families, and a lasting tribute to those who answered the call to serve our country.

As the building now requires significant repairs, including a new roof, our community is coming together to preserve it. I’m proud to support these efforts, and I invite you to join in helping protect this important part of Calgary’s history.
